Cleavers has long been used as a slimming aid, probably because of their diuretic properties. Worldwide, cleaver's most common use has been as a cleansing herb for treating ailments from kidney and urinary disorders to infections and itching. It is also said to be excellent for skin conditions like eczema.

Glycerites can be used topically, orally, or are also a great ingredient in your own product recipes. I grow this myself in raised beds of organic compost and worm castings. This is made from fresh, organic cleaver plants that I harvest myself. Handmade in small batches. 100% organic although not formally certified. Vegan, gluten-free, non-irradiated, non-GMO, and never any additives. Keeps up to one year in a cool, dark cabinet, or longer in the fridge.

 How to use glycerin herbal extracts: For personal care & cosmetic product makers, use 10 to 15% glycerite of your oil/water/butter liquid volume in an existing recipe. Topically, dab on the fingertip and rub into the affected area. Orally, always consult your health care practitioner, physician, and or veterinarian. Adult dosage is typically 30-60 drops (1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon), taken daily in a little water.
